Bathers Beach, an easy 5 minute stroll from the Hotel, is the perfect city beach and a local favourite! The generally calm waters offers safe bathing for everyone and this beach is especially popular with families.

The 300m stretch of white sandy beach is perfect for swimming, although it is unpatrolled and the Indian Ocean provides a much welcomed breeze, especially during the hot summer months of November – February. It is very popular with both locals and visitors with many people frequenting it for their daily swim! It is also a beautiful spot to watch the sunset.

Known for having warm waters, this makes it the perfect spot for swimming, snorkelling or diving all year round. As an A-class reserve, all flora and fauna are protected and you may even see the unique quokka.

Recreational Fishing is another activity you can get involved in, or why not explore the island using a hire bicycle.

Getting to Rottnest is easy, take a ferry boat or even a plane, plus once you are on the island, walk around and explore, or hop on a tour or bus service.
